Suitable for block trains
In addition to pocket wagons for transporting truck trailers, silo wagons have been a familiar sight on Europe's rails for decades. Silo wagons are used today for a wide variety of private companies and clients. Between 2005 and 2013, the Swiss company Josef Meyer from Rheinfelden built several Uacns 932 silo wagons. These freight wagons are mainly used in block trains. The advantage of the trolleys is that they are easy to load and unload. The wagons often run directly from the producers of the goods to be transported. The Uacns 932 differs from customer to customer in small details: Some variants have ladders and walkways, others do not. The four-axle tank wagons hold a total of around 70,000 liters and have a load limit of 70 tons. Their maximum speed is 120 km / h
