Electric locomotive series 254 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR-Ost), epoch IV,
Model with built-in, load-regulated digital decoder, factory-fitted with prototypical sound.
Motor with flywheel. Drive on four axles, two traction tires. Coupling pocket according to NEM 355 standards with close coupling kinematics. Two-light LED headlights that change with the direction of travel.
Prototype: The DR class E 94 electric locomotives that remained after the war were disrespectful of the "iron pig". For a long time these robust locomotives were the backbone of the DR's freight train traffic. The red painted bogies were a noticeable difference to the DB variant. The locomotives were in use until 1990.
